Selection Process

The selection of candidates for Railway RRB Assistant Loco Pilot will be through a multi-stage process as per the official notification:

• First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I): This objective test will cover:
  • General Awareness (Current Affairs, Indian History, Geography, Economics, etc.)
  • Mathematics (Number System, Decimals, Fractions, Percentages, etc.)

• Aptitude Test: For candidates qualifying CBT-II, an Aptitude Test will be conducted to assess traits essential for safety-sensitive roles like Loco Pilot.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents and certificates regarding age, qualification, category, etc.
• Medical Examination: Finally, selected candidates will undergo a thorough medical examination as per the railway medical standards to ensure fitness for the job.
