How to Apply?

Selection Process

Selection for the MPPSC State Service Examination (SSE) is based on a three-stage process:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):

    • This is the first screening test.
    • It consists of two compulsory papers (General Studies and CSAT/Aptitude).
    • The exam is conducted for 200 marks each, with a duration of 2 hours per paper.
    • Only candidates qualifying this stage will be eligible for the Mains examination.
  2. Main Examination (Descriptive Type):

    • Candidates shortlisted from the Prelims will appear for the Mains.
    • This stage includes several papers covering subjects like General Studies (split into papers), Hindi Language, and English Language.
