1. Read the Notification: Carefully download and read the official recruitment notification (SSR_Med_02_27_English.pdf) for complete eligibility criteria, instructions, and requirements.
2. Prepare Documents: Keep scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph (as per specific instructions), signature, and academic mark sheets/ certificates ready. Ensure the photograph meets the specified criteria (taken after May 2026, light background, name and date on a slate).
3. Visit Apply Online Portal: Click on the "Apply Online" link provided above or visit the official website's application section. The portal will be active from 14/03/2026.
4. Register/Login: If you are a new user, complete the one-time registration by providing your mobile number and email ID. Existing users can directly log in.
5. Fill Application Form: Log in and accurately fill in all personal, educational, and contact details in the application form. Double-check all entered information.
6. Upload Documents: Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and required documents in the prescribed format and size.
7. Pay Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹550/- using the available online payment methods (Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI).
8. Review and Submit: Thoroughly review the complete application form for any errors. Once satisfied, submit the application form.
9. Take Printout: After successful submission, take a clear printout of the generated application form and fee receipt for your future reference and records.
10. Correction Window: If any mistakes are found, use the correction window from 10-11 April 2026 to make necessary amendments.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates for the post of Agniveer Sailor (SSR Medical) is a rigorous, multi-stage process designed to assess physical fitness, mental acuity, and medical suitability.

1. Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) – Stage I:

   • This is a computer-based examination (CBT) conducted online.
   • The exam will test candidates on subjects based on the 10+2 curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge).
   • Questions will be of objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
   • The exam is scheduled for May 2026.
   • Only candidates who clear the Stage I cut-off will be called for the next stage.

2. Stage II:

   • Shortlisted candidates from INET Stage I will be issued an Admit Card for Stage II.
   • This stage involves:
     • Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes events like 1.6 km run, squat-ups, push-ups, etc.
     • Preliminary Medical Examination: Basic medical check-up to verify minimum medical standards.
     • Document Verification: Candidates must produce original and self-attested copies of all educational certificates, age proof, and category certificates (if applicable) for verification.

3. Stage III (Final Merit & Medical):

   • Candidates who clear Stage II will undergo a detailed medical examination at the prescribed military medical centers as per Navy standards.
   • A final merit list will be prepared based on the performance in INET Stage I and Stage II.
   • Final selection will be subject to medical fitness, availability of vacancies, and all other eligibility conditions.

Note: The entire selection process is as per the rules and regulations of the Indian Navy and the Agnipath scheme. Candidates must be physically and medically fit to undergo demanding training and service.
